"First step's so called education, next we bring assimilation.
We keep you passified so you will follow"
Send out the soldiers & fill up the prisons, Stand in line for superficial pleasures
The man who you are suppose to be able to trust and love turns out to be the one you have to look out for the most.
The man who was suppose to love you and never hurt you turns out to be the one who can't be trusted.
I Bet you don't know how some of us youths are trying
Consistently attempting to filter and rebirth the "already drugged" mind
whose views are confined to material wealth, sex and guns
Your kisses hold me hostage
like a barrel to my brain
Your scent constricts my breathing
it's like haroine in my veins
You came in with guns blazing
and demanded my heart
In the dead of the night there is a cry of pain.
One child looses innocence and a soul commits to flames.
No help hears this call and thus none arrives,
He is left to the darkness with tears in his eyes.
Every child reaches the age
When their thoughts need no consent.
When hearts twist and writhe,
Simple encounters evoke torment.
Days pass as moments,
Slipping through the tightest of grips;
You call this a classroom.
I call it a jail cell with cheesy posters.
You call it a grade.
I call it the key to my future sucess.
You call it a lesson.
I call it BULLSHIT.
I was scared,
Scared of what we could of had.
Scared of what we should of locked on a pad.
Scared of something that could go bad.
And now, I stand.
Confused with these flowers from another man.
There once was a summer.
A summer full of sun and delight
A summer with a boy.
A boy with great might.
I fell in love with him, that boy.
His touch reminded me of peppermint. Tingly.
The darkness will rise,
The moon will shine,
And take souls as a prize,
While the creatures moan and whine.
The morose skies,
The dreadful evils,
The hopeless cries,
You're a note sent from heaven,
To this battle field in hell.
I wish I could kiss you here
and the worries farewell.
Every letter written carefully
By a steady hand in ink.
A normal day like any other,
You smile across the room.
I make my way to talk to you,
Then screams erupt, but whom?
Our eyes dart to the open door,
Where classmates hurry by,
