a star shines bright
in the dark night skies
but when the morning sun rises
it hides
a hero lends a helping hand
to a needing man
Standing at an intersection
Holding a cardboard sign
Scrawled on with a sharpie
Found lying around
Cars pass
And pass
And pass
This is humiliating
Still they pass
The hot sun beats down,
