Sticks and Stones Don't Break My Bones, But Your Words Do.

Can someone please tell me why this world is so full of words I can't understand

Why I can't comprehend

please lend me a hand so I can understand how to be your friend

All I takes is one simple word but some many others try to fill us with void

I can't help but realize why we criticize when we are all so beautiful inside

is it so hard to empathize?

What she might be going through you might not realize

I'm stuck in a world full of lies it hard to see

The thick walls guarding her heart

To afraid to let anyone in because they don't understand

The road of pain walked alone

No destinations of gold

Just depression, anger, sadness, and agony

All she needs is that light at the end, a friend

This lonely road laced with obstacles

 each day is struggle

And words like knives stab her each and everyday

She bleeds so much that she doesn't know if she'll last

When the emptiness inside cries so loud but no one can hear

When her smile can't reach her eyes

And she finds no reason  to be alive

Will you reach out and help or deprive her of happiness?
