Unstable I remain, underneath the surface. Nothing is safe and innocent now.Darkness is reclaiming this world, as I search for a visual sign.Eyes roaming the surrounding water.
The lemon grass scent belonged to her pecan tinted skin.
Her stare soft but filled with a pinch of fear.
When the breeze roared and fell on us heavy like a brick.
Only now,
the living, the loving and the dying
all come together
in this underwater world.
the water clear and transparent
If I knew what drowning felt like, I might say I was
If I could find myself, I would start looking
If I could become water, maybe I wouldn’t drown
The weight does feel like endless fluid
