Spotlight.
Center stage.
Spotlight turns to headlights
Caught in the headlights
A student is a deer frozen
In front of a question in the form of a car

I hate the way some like to say,
"Man high school was some bullshit!"
Like, "I never learned anything useful!"
Teach kids!
They tend to learn.
Why make school a prison?
Teachers should only get to teach.

Uping my vocabulary
With words like licentious
Or efficacy
I love taking those words
And creating new worlds
With lines of prose and poetry
Reinforcement of false “fairness,” has rose a reputation of a world-renowned expectation of mocking American education.
I remember hearing stories of a
Country wherein the citizens were free
To love and believe in whoever they
So desired, but that was in the past.

Yet there remains an inequality
If parents can afford to send their child to private school..
They are already at a higher level
When I was a child
my mother
and all my teachers
told me that I was "gifted".
They said that I was brilliant,
had such potential,
smarter than all the rest,
and that because of this,

They don't do much for me.

I will not learn in a cube.
Put me in a box, tell me I must do this, force me into a crowd, a schedule.
Try. I will not learn.
I will fly free in nature, away from straight lines and hard rules.
