I wish I be a winner, for I've came a long way & still I got so far to go being a racer.
Ride all day I think I lost my way. But love on my mind ain't a player.
Walk a mile in my shoes
With the holes in the toes
I don’t have any goals
And everybody’s smoking bowls
I wish I had the courage
Once upon a time...
There was a young couple with too many kids:
Poor Isaac, Miss Sue, and sadly, young Sid.
The three of them had never enough to eat.
Momma didn't know what to do or who to meet.
Look at me now; tell me what you see?
A small new puppy full of hope and need.
I do not speak or seem to hear,
though now and then I show real fear.
What will I be when I am grown?
All animals feel pain
Primates make different faces for different emotions
Dogs remember who you are when you walk through the door
Dolphins are known to communicate with each other
Everyone makes mistakes,
That is inevitable.
Everyone has flaws,
I know this to be true.
I'm a pest,
And I'm a thief.
Though, I do not mean no harm,
I disturb your peace.
But can you give me my peace?
Can you give back what you took from me?
Only half is fine.
I am the one who fought for you
Because it’s what you asked.
I am the one who would have died for you
If to me that is what you tasked.
Why am I here? What have I done to deserve this? Shampoo in my eyes. Give me cancer for a cause. Rush smoke in my lungs. I am an animal, I want to live free. Why cant the just let me be?
Life; funny as it may be; daring as it should
Could not compare to this, or so it would
All problems faced to the majority as a whole
Pinches and medicine,
Needles and a poke.
This just has to be a painful joke.
Their squirms are minimal,
Their cries are silent,
Allowing the ‘caretakers’ to be violent.
The words unspoken between me and you, They have the same depth as a city pool. I wait and wait as time flies bye, Thinking about a life full of memories that you left behind.
