Are we all not burning?
In the fire of reasoning.
I wake up to prepare for a regular day,
And even then i found myself drowning,
In the thoughts of dismay.
I looked at myself in the mirror so blur,
‘Why do you care so much?’
asked the boy with a Pepsi
clasped in his hands, which
was previously deemed
lesser to Coke
in a strange conversation
at eleven thirty-two
Dear America,
When I was in fifth grade, I dreamed of growing up to be president.
Fifth grader me thought I could do it because I was smart and confident and amazing
I don’t think you can disappoint me,
At least not easily.
*sigh*
I think it’s difficult to disappoint someone
Who believes that every hope is a gun.
Who am I?
My name is Seraiah Jean Cook
But what does that mean?
I'm more than a name
I'm just a girl in this world trying to be sane
My life hasn't been the best
I Am A Shooting Star
Once You See Me I Amaze You
But By Time You See Me, Im Already Gone
My Existence Has Already Been No Longer
Dead To The Outside, But Alive In Your Mind
To be recognized One must have something to be recognized forAnd I, Well, I have nothingI have the world to walk uponBut it is not mine
