Shit you can’t say to your teacher: “I’m tired,” For she will think you didn’t sleep enough last night. “I’m really distracted,” For she will think you have no interest in learning.
Students yelling over top one another I can’t hear a sound over their nonsensical rants You try to make them settle down You shush, yell over top of them to gain control
For my teachers, you're doing your job. Free is what you make but you never stop. To the school I'd like you to be out of a job. One day, you'll see how you messed us up and now we can't stop.
Go ahead, Pat yourself on the back. You’ve set yet another class up for failure. And averted the blame from yourself.   While you watched football games, And pretended to grade papers,
learning and yearning for more isn’t that what we’re brought up to believe in? what we want to see, we can go through the ringer and maybe that’s bringing us
Teach me to tinker Teach me to play Give me a chance to do it my way   Help me explore Help me to try Give me a chance to fail and to fly   Show me a way Then let me do
Oh teachers you don’t seem to get, That we have our lives to set   We don’t have time for your busy work, This is only making us overwork   You say we have time for everything,
Well teachers, you did it. You succeeded in breaking us. We’ve been stressed beyond our explosion point, Cried for no apparent reason, And have had several mental breakdowns.
Have you ever had one of those teachers? The one who wants to be your BESTEST friend, like ever. Who has this overwhelming need to tell your every detail about their child,
I am an Athlete of the Mind. My mind is an engine; With pistons firing non-stop, all the time. Constantly creating anew; Continually trying to prove, That I am just as good as them.
Gym class my be fun for me I want to Run I maybe the girl that slows down the line I maybe the girl who looks like she does not try I maybe the one you yell at to go faster, keep up  but never slow down
Sir, please: look at the pretty girl back there. Her hand's raised. You know the one; she's always having a good time                         with friends.
When I was young,
Dear Ms. Teacher,I gotta say your class is really fun. We talk about topics that I never knew a ton,of.There are days where all we do in class is talk. About politics and the news, we don't have time to gawk.
I know you struggle to contain the class I struggle to contain my temper I value my education I treasure your teachings I do my best every day I listen when you talk
Beneath my size 7 converse kicks lies my professor, Mangled, tangled, and soon to be the rare gem. This 10 page paper, like really though Its bad enough we have a quiz, test, h.w, lecture, and final
Teachers really are the key to our future success, But they do tend to test us students at times With their cliché lines about how studying the text Can make you the best prepared for the test,
Why do you insist That I’m like everyone Else When clearly I’m not Clearly I know More Clearly I understand More Clearly I like A challenge Why do you insist
I'm not getting an education. I'm there to pass a test. To make the school system look good. I'm not getting an education. I work my butt off. I'm there to get a grade. I don't learn.
I almost ran away over the weekend. Yelling pierced the air and spilled from the door, And I couldn’t take it anymore.   So I got in my car and started driving.
How come everytime you hear talking, you think it's me? You accuse. I look around the classroom, and I see other students mouths being used. This is stupid! I'm getting in trouble, and I did not even contribute.
To question the validity of my teachers through the years Is to question the following lessons I hear: There was one to crush my dreams And one to learn I won't make teams
A student cries      This isn't fair A teacher replies      Well life isn't fair I sit and look on Troubled by what is going on      ...life isn't fair? Is that your idea of justification?
