What went wrong?
He didn’t know.
No one did.
An exhilarating rush
My mentor came to take my hand
And with a voice so kind,
Said, “Come along and we shall see
What angels we can find.”
The shackles of the past still ring in the minds of a brother.
Poetry allows the emotions of a brother to be proclaimed.
The MASTERS of the world the brother lives in, know how to silence the brother.
Often times I wonder,
Why we act, react, act, and repeat.
I grew up in a house that says no to discrimination,
I grew up in a society that says yes.
I grew up in a church that says to love everyone,
