It's almost like enough
Heaven in a room to,
rest easy.
With little and big helpers,
along the walls.
Ready to guide me,
to become the man I dream of.
I lift and lift,
When I was young, I built a house. Inside, I fashioned a kitchen with a corner cabinet and crawled inside amongst the dirty, rusty, moldy pans. The door closed.
Write a poem about what poetry means to you.
Sounds pretty simple.
Write a poem. Um...
Poetry to me
Is an interesting way
To write differently.
One still night, alone was I,
As mind and soul raced wind and time.
To space, they spread and quickly fell,
Obeying laws against their will.
I thought of all the days gone past,
Mindless
A state of being without the mind
A state I hope to never find
For I cannot live without my mind
I simply can't live to see another day,Without you, my friend, the world would be grey. You bring out the best of me, You help me escape and feel free.
Faced with the ultimate question,
If I were stranded,
All alone,
What would I bring
To make me feel at home?
The answer is difficult,
Not an easy task,
What would I do,
All my heart,
With the blood it pumps.
All the air,
That fills my lungs.
They could take it all,
A week’s worth of laundry piled high
Taller than a horse, it makes me want to cry.
I think I lost my cell phone
Somewhere within that danger zone.
What lies beyond the secret door?
Is it a garden, full of sweet blossoms?
Or perhaps, a deep dungeon full of bones?
