aging and Lonliness

I was too young the first time-
And it is only one time for now.
And why shouldn't you have another try?
But now,
unlike before,
even through your cloudy eyes,
you see his war decorations
growing was slow, then sudden
like tectonic plates drawing near,
then clicking together,
leaving a trail of collapsed buildings in its wake-
I don't want to see you again
and I don't miss you
I don't want to feel your skin
as it graces my own skin
I don't want to kiss your lips
during a foreign sunset in some foreign place
Loneliness is a pitch black, empty room.
Nothing or no one nearby to touch.
Nothing or no one to share my thoughts.
The air is dry and tasteless.
The sound of solitude echoes against the walls.
Swirls of red angrily coated the walls.
Nightmares whispered in the wind.
She saw him in the flashes of lightening.
We sat together in a bus-stop.
Alone, just her and I.
