Don’t think too much
About forbidden touch
Or legal abuse of such
Little creatures like dairy cows and fabric workers.
Don’t feel too much.
The homeless man with his crutch

If you think you’re safe, you’re wrong
(an ant has no quarrel with a boot).
I will burn you, I will burn the heart out of you;
When I’m feeling down,
Darkness all around,
Music picks me up.
All is safe and sound.
Jazz is to spice up life.
Blues, to overcome strife.
Louis Armstrong sings
When I was a little girl, I loved to play dress up
I would go into our basement where we had a barrel full of clothes from times past
And I would live in those times
And everyone smiled and laughed
The way we are living now is prone to always change.
A world searching for tomorrow, yet today never remains.
When the next big thing hits, and no thought enters brains
Oh horrid idol of adhesive song,
Why dost thine smirking visage haunt my thoughts?
What dry rhyme can'st thy parched tongue not yet quench?
Each word swallows flesh like a jagged knife.
