Tell me,  What do you see as the end of the world? Will we cook ourselves in the toxins we've unleashed into the air? Will we poison our food and water with fuel spills? Will we kill ourselves in war?
The world has turned its face from the Sun, And I don't know if it will turn again. In the dark black I stumbled over the Earth crying-confused Roadburn on my knees, gravel imprints in my gray-pink palms
It floods in,fills up,crushing, hungry.Dragging, panicked.Whose hands?Mine.One. Two.  Three. Four. Five.
in our lifetimes we find ourselves stacked on top of each other as we’ve not yet built enough satellites to live on (admittedly, Alien scares us too much anyhow) and this earth is already full
Concrete wasn’t always made so harsh and solid In fact it was mostly straw When I walk without my shoes on It rubs my poor feet raw
Humans, humans, humans Searching for acceptance In return getting malevolence Claustrophobic together Pressing down on each other
overflowing sink dirty dishes, murky water she ponders pregnancy
