Swirls of red angrily coated the walls.
Nightmares whispered in the wind.
She saw him in the flashes of lightening.
We sat together in a bus-stop.
Alone, just her and I.
I am a modern day nomad,
Constantly searching
For something
A connection
To the world,
To the people,
To the universe.
I wasn’t born with innate talent,
But I don’t like to settle
She appears to be a frequent wanderer
At times it is hard to know her purpose and place
She embarks on an unfamiliar path constantly
Home.
What is it?
Where is it?
Who’s there?
But you don’t know,
Won’t know,
Because you’ve never been there.
You’ve never seen their faces,
Never closed the spaces,
Fall into me
Catch the train to platform thrity three
I will watch as you depart
For the lacerations of your heart
I can't save you
If you get too far in
Yes I may be beautiful
Don't live wishing for wings
When legs can take you just as far
Live life as a nomad
A sailboat without an anchor
Life is too short to allow for ordinarity
Remember opened eyes can be used to see
