Do you remember the time when the Carousel was first built? What joy it brought to those who anticipated! The gems which twinkled and flared, The paint all smooth and bright.
Spinning around and around Time is like a Carousel Bound to repeat itself
Like children playing
'round she goes like a carousel/ she was nothing (and nothing was her)   she was engulfed (in an iron grip) monday to sunday twitching and waiting (for something to snap)
So many strange things running in a carousel With eerie music round and round, As the monkey bears its wide-toothily grin And blood drips from the jaws of the neighboring bear.
