Poems from Romeoville
What I see walking down a hallway
is an explosion of chaos,
a mix of emotion and sweat
that makes up the height and downfall of high...
We live in a never ending world;
A world of never ending lies.
We dwell in a land of never-ending joy;
Outweighed by never ending sorrow....
I’m losing my skin
to this cold winter’s day.
I’m slipping from you
and that’s all I can say.
I can’t feel myself
under this snow.
I think...
I look over the oceans to find you,
where have you gone?
All I can think of is
expanse united,
it must be united
to find the one you seek...
The Lonely Child waits by her window
for the blank sky
and lank clouds
in the silent summer’s empty night.
Silent summers.
Empty nights....
