UGLY, DESERTED, CARING
What I see walking down a hallway
is an explosion of chaos,
a mix of emotion and sweat
that makes up the height and downfall of high school.
I see people and things,
people talking about things,
things either ruining or making people.
I see bold, happy, popular people,
the lonely people,
the people who are adored by most,
those who are hated by most,
the ugly, deserted, caring people,
and those who strive for an end.
Those are the people who I take interest in.
I am an ugly, deserted, caring person.
They want it to end
only to find, to their dismay,
that they can’t.
The ugly, deserted, caring people won’t let them.
These ugly, deserted, caring people
tell the others about high school
about life, love, hardship, and friendship,
share knowledge and enlighten to the fact
that they, and everyone around them
the bold, happy, popular people,
the lonely people,
the people who are adored by most,
the people who are hated by most,
are endless, no beginning, no end,
just them, them and the ugly, deserted, caring people
all spinning around, hurting and saving each other.
This is what I see in the hallways.
People who need an ugly, deserted, caring person’s help.
