Poems from Polkaspottedsweater
A little marble
Found by a young boy on the stairs
Interest is found for a little while
Then, not lost,
The interest diffuses
But the boy...
Speeding heart!
But why?
This has happened before!
Why now?
Anxious
Undecided
Everything in the subconscious making decisions for me.
Can I...
Swimming in white mist,
It’s hard to move,
But so raw,
Finally uncovered from the black,
Laughter turns to pain,
From the chest expanding...
A cave sits in front of your door,
You pass by it every day, not knowing
Refusing to know
Too busy to know
The cave is empty,
Air sweeps...
It’s like a blanket,
A black blanket,
It covers the insides
Then it shrivels to the core
Leaving the vessel
Empty
Cold
Alone
So, so alone...
