Reminiscing

Swimming in white mist,

It’s hard to move,

But so raw,

Finally uncovered from the black,

Laughter turns to pain,

From the chest expanding to contracting

Inside itself,

Heavy,

And tears

Always moving forward,

Through the black,

But in these moments,

Swimming in circles,

Surrounded by confusing white,

I’m stuck in place

Looking back,

Reminiscing,

And finally,

I miss it:

The past
