I am an eighteen year old writer and I enjoy writing poetry and novels, sometimes short stories.
I write poetry because, for me, it is a way to express my feelings without actually expressing them in spoken word. So if I'm upset, I don't say that I'm upset, or even write that I'm upset, instead, I write about the overall feeling that I am containing at the time.

Watching over me as I sleep
Wishing me sweet dreams
