Poems from IbnLeon

IbnLeon's picture
My name is Louis Morris, pen-name Ibn Leon. I was born and raised in Newark, NJ with two parents, Leon and Daisel Morris. I discovered my love for language in the 4th grade, but due to drugs and debauchery, I abandoned this gift until I went to prison. At the end of my mandatory minimum of 30 years, I was honored to participate in a college program called N.J. Step where I had two great English professors, and learn from them not only writing skills but life skills. I am currently on parole in West Virginia trying, by God's Grace & Mercy to pick up the pieces of my life. He has truly blessed me and I just want to spread joy and good in any way I can for the rest of my life.
