Socially Anti-Social

Lets have a contest. Can we put our phones away, meet and talk to people for just one day? We see social media as a better form of communication, but it really does away with interpersonal relations. I'm not saying it's all bad, it has it's positive girth. We can contact people quickly all over the earth. Despite this advantage it lacks feelings and emotions, but the depths of our souls are deeper than the oceans.

This surface communication is not the way we were created. That's one of the main reasons are hearts are so guarded and gated. This request to put the phone down is not for a month or a year. It's just for one day. Is that too much to fear? Why do I call it a contest? Now that's a fair question. There is no prize to win, but we may learn a valuable lesson.
