A year in colors
A year is colors is something that can blur around you
It starts off in the cold winter months, with blues and grays, and whites
before it moves to the dusty brown and pale greens of spring
In between there is bright blue and yellow for the occasional sunny day
but soon the different shades of gray and black take over again
Sparks of red are flashing across my line of sight
and I know it's not you or someone else but it's me
It's a flash of dull silver and specks of red, then it's white.
It's like the sun beating down in your eyes blinding you.
Rusty browns, reds, and yellows take you into fall
where you think that the colors are okay with you
They lull you into a smooth sleep for the return of grays, and blues, and whites
