Where the Sea and the Sky Meet

You are where the sea and the sky meet-A line of the horizon that many have tried to reachBut so magnificent, so beautiful, so ever changing, that no one can help themselves There are stories you tell of merfolk and fae, that you know like they are written on the underside of your skinBut they are more than stories to youKnowingly or not, you embody themWith sweet song like a sirenWith cunning wit like the faeWith the enchanting magic of them both There are vicious waves atop your head,Every sky reflectedin your eyesWind chimes and thunder trapped in your throat,Entire hurricanes confined to your chest You are the eye of the storm and a wild tidal wave in one bodyA riptide I seek out, waiting to be pulled inA bolt of lightning so brilliant I can’t look away
