What They Don't See

There is so much that they don't see

So little do they stand up and lead

Many faces in the faceless crowd

Only few will stand, and be proud

Only few will go out of their way

To make one smile, to make their day

In the end, we are all hurting beings

Striving for love, yet barely breathing

So in fear of judgement, so hidden in the dark

So the mass stops, afraid to even start

This is why they do not see

The real person that is hiding in me
