We'll meet again

Location

Memories,
Memories of all these days,
Of all the nights,
Of all we held.

You know,
Sometimes I wonder why,
Why the sun,
Why that great blue sky.

Now why the love,
And just why we,
Then I answer myself,
Because of you and me.

And then,
Then there in the distance it shines,
A shimmering star,
Beyond our skies.

Well,
It isn't really a star,
It's more like our two hearts,
Together like one.

And then, I hear a voice,
“Honey, wake up.”,
It's a dream,
Damn it, please don't wake me up.

It's 6am,
On the 7th of march,
It's the date of your death,
Two years now have past.

You know,
I see you sometimes on the train,
Or smell your scent,
In the summer rain.

And then, I blame myself again,
It was my fault,
Suicide... ,
But I could have saved you back then.

If I were a little faster,
A little smarter,
You would still be alive,
With all your laughter.

Seriously,
I think of you every day,
But I know, now you're an angel,
Watching over me.

And that's,
That's why I didn't cry,
I looked up at the sky, smiled,
And said “Good bye”.

Because I know,
If I am happy,
You are too,
Farewell my angel,
We'll meet again soon.
