We put our front to

We put our front to shield ourselves from the monsters on the outside

Worried about getting hurt again.

My past is filled with despair and depression,

And no one needs to row back there.

My fascade is now stronger than ever,

Hiding myself from the world.

Because if this world really knew me,

My life would be totally changed.

Family hurt and

Friendships broken,

All I ever asked for was peace.

I was born innocent and never deserved what would be to come.

But if I could go back again, I would say

How my life truly was;

All the abuse and hate.

All those feelings of true regret are now surpressed;

And for me, there is no hope as

The demons will never be let out

To tell the world who I really am.
