We Know Who We Are

We are undefined by words alone, the ones who stand, the rolling stones.

They will say stand out in a crowd and try something new
But heaven forbid that you actually do.

The rules that are set are strictly spoken
But we always find a reason they need to be broken.

Don't tell me who I am, I just want to be me
So save me the hypocrisy.

Because we are the ones that bear the strain
That give society growing pains.

We are not a fad or simple fashion
But an elusive force of timeless passion.
