The Waltz
Why do we do this stupid little dance?
It's very well coordinated and I know the steps by heart
But you don't seem to understand that with each twist and turn we destroy what we have
It's broken down into simple steps
You've formulated the perfect routine
You twirl around and tear me down
I swing and fall into your trap
You leap and break my spirits
You strut and break my heart
One-step
Two-step
This is the part where I trip
You grab my hand and we dip
The grand finale
But you let me go
On the ground, I see you smile
You take a step and reach down
See you again next week
