Until All the Pieces Fit

His autism does not define him.

He is defined by his individuality and singularity as a unique life

Take the time to acknowledge his intellect

Peering into the other side, put yourself in his shoes

Stimulation simulating a staggering sensension

A paralyzing project that is his mind

Millions of puzzle pieces looking for a fit

And what does he get?

A special education class where he is underappreciated

A group of family members aiding in his deterioration

But what does he need?

A person willing to guide his mind ready to feed

On the genuine friendship that is in his capacity

He is able to love,

And I could never live without his abnormality

Until all the pieces fit,

I will never let my best friend quit.
