The Unknown

Location

The unknown
So I find myself sitting on a sofa in the middle of nowhere
At house in the middle of nowhere
With people I don't know in the middle of nowhere
Contemplating where my place is
Unfamiliar faces
Grant me with their drunken graces
Searching for something to replace this this this
noise
I wanna runaway and try to shake it off
But I can't
I'm stuck
Stuck in a room with a heap of smoke
Controlling my mind
Taking my thoughts to provoke.
I miss my home
I miss my family
I miss my friends
I miss can go on over and over again
The crappy street I lived on
The crazy highways
My mother's embrace
The Dominican doobie palace hair salon around the corner.
Garbage
Litter everywhere.
Fat skinny tall short no one cares.
People who look just like you.
With all that is great
I love the garden state
A place I thought that I hate
But I can't go home because
I'm stuck
Stuck in a room with a heap of smoke
Controlling my mind
Taking my thoughts to provoke.
