The Universe's Excursionist

A whimsical box of adventures held beneath my arm,

I travel the universe to embellish it with more.

Instantaneously fell in love with the mortals' charm,

And never satisfy the endless hunger to explore.

Not a mountain too tremendous, nor a canyon too deep,

Life is a game, yet so completely straightforward and clear,

Though I will never have the ability to complete,

This redundant pursuit of life is my colossal fear.

The desire to visit many enchanted places,

Overpowers the unbroken need to sleep by the moon.

Never will I become disinterested in new faces,

Forever yearning to observe the sound of danger’s tune.

But you; remarkably the only  thing I have withdrawn,

the perpetual oxygen reminds me that you’re gone.
