Twisted Rivers

Twisted rivers

sing broken songs

a confused rush

instead of peaceful mutterings

tearing away shorelines

with desperate grabs

instead of a passing caress

eventually their madness fades

banks smooth

voices quiet

a path is decided

twisted rivers can't

stay twisted
