The Trees See it All

The trees see it all.

They live life long.

And the leaves fall.

A little boy will crawl.

The shadows stretch wrong.

The trees see it all.

A woman halts a brawl.

The blood flows strong.

And the leaves fall.

Horns sound the call.

Humming vibrates the gong.

The trees see it all.

Empires rise and fall.

The trunks stand strong.

And the leaves fall.

The world does not stall.

The stars dance to Creator’s song.

The trees see it all.

And the leaves fall.
