Threefold Beauty

Beautiful is the Earth!

Though not all things are mirth,

Every small thing has worth.

A yellow star presides;

A white moon touches tides;

A twinkling star abides.

These hover in the sky,

The clouds roll over on high,

The heavens say good-bye.

Now the clouds pour down rain.

Wind blows the weather vain.

Thunder sings a refrain.

The refilled ocean plays

From deep-sea to the bays

As tides fall down and raise.

From the beach towards inland,

Here the dry ground does stand.

See the mountains so grand!

In water and on ground

Animals can be found

And plants simply abound.

Wonderful is the world!

As through space it is hurled,

New beauty is unfurled.
