The Things I Didn't Actually Write

They all want my autograph

but they don't know how I write it

The things I read behind closed doors

made me who I am-

but how can I be what I have read if I cannot speak out loud?

They hear me, they listen

but with their closed ears

they believe everything they read about me

collecting my autographs, what they believe to be

my signatures

on the things I didn't write.
