They Never Stop

men cry of victory;

though comrades have died.

Heaven watches in horror;

while children die by the knife.

thousands are dying;

and husband kills wife.

i fell to my knees;

and ask of Death, " why?"

he said, "don't look at me."

"it was Their inside job."

i asked what he meant;

he said "They never stop."

Our world
