There They Go
There she goes
What does her life show
She is happy and she smiles
But when she goes home, it only lasts for a while
Does anyone see her cry
Does anyone know she wants to die
Does anyone know that she thinks now is the end
That her hope has gone around the bend
It seems no one cares
For the sorrow it seems no one shares
For at this moment her life is at stake
Drastic measures she will take
There she goes
He seems happy and fine
But there isn’t much time
For he is shoved around a lot
For he had no father to be taught
So he puts to his head his gun
For he will no longer be the hated son
His love for himself has disappeared so fast
The little love shown doesn’t last
For people judge and can’t forget the past
For at this moment his life is at stake
Drastic measures he will take
There he goes
There she goes, seems happy with life
But at night she cuts herself with a knife
She is beaten so much
It isn’t just
She cries and cries and cries and cries
But when people ask, she just lies
For her life is horrid and sad
And she now believes she is bad
For at this moment her life is at stake
Drastic measures she will take
There she goes
He is always helping others
Orphan children and widowed mothers
But at home he is called selfish and dumb
But his horrible drunk mom
No one thinks anything is wrong
But his life won’t last very long
For he is looking into the river
To his watery grave, he shivers
He seems to forget all he has done
For in a few seconds all of it is gone
For at this moment his life is at stake
Drastic measures he will take
There he goes
Does anyone see them go?
Does anyone help them heal and grow?
Are we too wrapped up in our own sorrows
Because a life or more will be gone tomorrow
