Tempest
Tempest resolve within me,
Cursing these waters with intrusive collision.
Meeting crest by crest with defiance.
Clamor and upheaval, I dwindle away;
The saline waters eroding this fleshy vessel.
Will she find rest in her woes?
Will he take refuge in the hemlock?
Dried voice and a cracked tongue,
Whispering quiet lullabies known only by the darkest of men.
"You'll never be,
as lovely or pretty,
or filled with glory, majesty nor loyalty, as I, the sea."
Almost completely eroded, one faint limb grasps for stability.
Find a way out,
Or be forever tucked in.
Your inner lies can't be mistaken as kin.
