Tell Me

Fri, 08/14/2015 - 01:42 -- Jaeley

When we were first together it was all so unclear.

I wanted you so badly, but all I knew was fear.

Then you held me in your arms and whispered in my ear.

All my thoughts escaped my mind when you held me near.

And then I fell into your arms and we were all I knew.

Everything inside is being made brand new.

But when you’re gone the doubts set in.

Where are you, with who and when?

Do you love me? Do you care?

I know I’m being paranoid, I know that it’s not fair.

But without you who can fight away my fear?

Who can clear my mind and wipe away every tear?

Tell me that you’ll never leave me.

Tell me that you’ll never go.

Tell me that you’ll always love me.

Tell me that you’ll always know.

When it’s just me and you

There is nothing we can’t do.

And the world is ours

All the planets and stars

When it’s just us two.
