Survival

Location

Love was all she longed for,

all she needed.

She didn't believe in it

because she had never seen it.

And what she thought,

that it couldn't be real.

She didn't show or reveal

so she didn't begin to heal.

Her strings are cut

Her mind is broken.

Her pillow lay, tears soaked in.

Her heart's a balloon with needles poked in.

She endures each day

but she feels dead inside.

She fakes the happiness in her eyes.

Someone help... she won't survive.
