Stupid Knife

Stupid knife just do your job.
I know use has dulled your blade,
But your needed to silence the sounding crusade.

Stupid knife why did you change.
Mind of who's was once sharp,
Now played by the seductive strings of the harp.

Stupid knife why won't you cut.
Let the veins give their life,
And end the torturous song of strife.

Stupid knife why did you cut?
To one who's wrists I bind,
Open your eyes, you are no longer blind.

Kind knife know I am sorry,
I must tear the love you've shone,
For the cries of death call to me alone.
