Some Light
If you see me drown alone
See me standing on my own
In a world of complications
I have intricately sown
If you hear me in the night
Shedding tears over a loss
Hearing giggles that are long gone
Seeing faces gone across
Hold my hand, for you’re a friend
Walk me through until the end
For I might fall if you don’t come
Into the abyss I’d fall
If you don’t help me stand tall
Tell me how to turn the past
Into beauty that would last
Be the potion that kills the pain
That’s always flown in my very veins
And help me soar
Open my eyes to the rainbow
Hiding in the very rain…
