Sleep well

Sleep, that place where fantasies keep & time repeats merged between the seams of sheets where some nightmares creep at the beat of consciousness in deep. Sleep. A zone I created, unaware I'd revisit places & familiar faces I thought had faded distate in re facing it, this sleep. Asleep & not a peek to sneak, too fixed on bo beep under the maple tree looking for me, can't reach I'm asleep. Asleep & not able to reckon with reality or rock my own cradle as pandora sits insitistent under the kitchen table clenching the pages of rock a bye baby, while I'm asleep. Sleep, this daily habit that fills my head with a misty crib for a bed, empty of comfort that the matress promised best, while asleep. Asleep, back into the black hitting the sack without an agenda to recite mishaps & broken pacts just the need to relax too whaked for this abstact mass, I need to sleep. Sleeping, this dark pattern that keeps me captured not like the rock of saturn or natives of manhattan just the traces of gretels trails where my brain stem recounts fast asleep.Too deep live & tell say a prayer for this nightmare & sleep well.
