In the Silence

Time stands still for only a moment

But in that moment I find eternity

In that moment I feel yearning

and in that moment I known I am lacking.

It isn't until that moment passes that I know

The unquentchable thirst I feel

when my thoughts dwindle and everything is silent

is simply my mind's deafening plea for knowledge.
