She knew that loving him would be disastrous, but she was already a disaster. She knew that like her shadow, he will leave her in the dark. It’s only when the times are good that he will come back with an apology dripping from his lips like a spilled cup of coffee drips from a cup. And even until this day, she is still constantly checking her phone for a text message that he will never send because he is already too busy enjoying his next cup of tea.
