She is a Diamond

My sister is a diamond,

illuminating into surrounded darkness.

Tears are falling like the rain from the sky,

she does handle a lot.

Facing pain?

She is made of steel.

She does not utter “NO”,

to days that carry on.

She is tremendously amiable.

I cannot stop loving her.

She fights the darkness,

to come back again to her place,

a place where she used to be in,

where innocence and freedom

were dominating,

where she had never even glimpsed darkness.

She is a queen in a lockup,

but not yet her emancipation.

She is more illuminating diamond

when darkness surrounds her,

exactly like the moon.
