I think I saw a robbery today.
A man just fiddling with the door.
He looked at me watching,
I know he saw.

He looked me in the eyes
I just stood there frozen
I knew what he was thinking.
I was going to die.

He brought out his knife
I wanted to run
He wanted to fight.
I was done.

I tried to scream.
Silence
I wanted to yell.

No sound coming.
Silence

I finally yelled
