A Scene of Summer Dusk
You run your fingers
through my hair
while I sway to the beat
bare feet in verdant grass
bare soul in a floral dress
Feel those gold coast rays
sink into our skin
eyes closed, hands up
lips red, dressed up
Glowing wildfires of Jack and Jameson
it's so perfect in the way
that we just let it all go
Like the lush breeze flowing through
a scene of summer dusk,
all I really need
is to breathe
to be alive
right here
with you.
