Safe Space
it's a funny feeling having
a place where you don't hide
where words
they drop
like waterfalls;
where rules do not abide
it used to get the best of me
the feeling "what's the point?"
so as thoughts would come
they would also flee
through a downward
spiraling
slide
this slide wasn't like the ones
you see when children play
this slide spiraled into hollowness
to a troubled mind's dismay
the thoughts should rather trickle down
to a place familiar to wise men
it isn't a hollow nor empty place
it's a simple
paper and pen
